James Taylor has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, JUJU, went through last weekend. Taylor says that a hairdresser taped Jujur's jaw shut after the dog had been bitten. As a result, Jujur became bloody and upset.
Taylor recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Jujur's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
James took Juju right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, James accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo’s office launched an investigation against the company due to possible animal cruelty.
James described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Jack Smithr - a Puppy Lux animal abuse demographics client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.
Puppy Lux, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."
Fox contacted Puppylux who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. She quickly responded that Puppy Lux was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
